Argosy University is an arrangement of revenue driven schools claimed by Education Management Corporation.[3] The college keeps up 28 areas in the United States, and an online division. The college offers programs at the partners, bachelor's, expert's and doctorate level through its seven schools. The schools incorporate the College of Undergraduate Studies, College of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, College of Education, College of Business, College of Health Sciences, Western State College of Law at Argosy University and The Art Institutes of California at Argosy University.
The birthplaces of Argosy University follow to three separate organizations: the American School of Professional Psychology, the Medical Institute of Minnesota, and the University of Sarasota. In the late 1970s, Michael Markovitz established the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, which later changed its name to the American School of Professional Psychology. In 1976, Markovitz turned into the establishing administrator of Argosy Education Group, which gained the University of Sarasota in 1992. The University of Sarasota was a business and instruction centered school and was established in 1969. After six years Argosy Education Group gained the wellbeing calling preparing school the Medical Institute of Minnesota, which was set up in 1961.
In July 2001, Argosy Education Group was obtained by Education Management Corporation. After two months, Argosy Education Group united the American School of Professional Psychology, the Medical Institute of Minnesota, and the University of Sarasota under the Argosy University name.
In 2012, the graduate school Western State University College of Law, which was established in 1966 and initially obtained by Argosy in 2000, was renamed Western State College of Law at Argosy University
